The lunch-break league

Hand cricket is better with a friend

One of you makes the room. The other joins. Both play on your own phones or computers.

Bring them into the game

  1. Open the game

Choose Play with a friend on the home screen. If you are new, choose your player name when asked.

  2. Create a room

Choose Create room, then send your friend the invite link or the room code shown in the game.

  3. Your friend joins

They can open the invite link. Or they can open the game, choose Play with a friend, enter the code under Join a room, and join.

  4. Meet at the toss

Once both players are ready, call odd or even and take turns batting and bowling. Each choice stays hidden until both players have picked.

Two players, two devices

You can play together on phones, computers, or one of each. Open the website in a modern browser and keep an internet connection on both devices. There is no app to install.

Friend play uses a private room invite. You do not need to hand your phone over after each ball or be on the same Wi-Fi network.

Not in the same room yet?

The code will not join
Copy the full room code from the host’s current room. Check that neither player has left it. If the room has closed, make a new one and share the new invite.
Waiting for your friend
Ask them to open the latest invite and finish the joining steps. Keep the game tab open while you wait.
A connection drops
Restore your internet connection and follow the reconnect message in the game. If the game says the room has closed, return to the friend screen to start again.
